We also capture device and usage data—such as browser type, IP address, and engagement with our storefront—to monitor performance and keep the Maple experience secure.
2. How we use your information
Your data allows us to fulfill orders, manage your Maple fit profile, communicate delivery updates, and provide proactive support. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to improve our fit recommendations, materials, and site performance.
We do not sell your personal information. Limited data is shared with logistics, analytics, and payment partners strictly to complete the services you request.
3. Cookies and tracking
Essential cookies keep your cart and fit quiz state intact. Optional analytics and marketing tools help us understand how the fit journey is being used and which marketing efforts are working. This can include privacy-controlled tracking for page views, recommendation views, and completed purchases.
On Shopify-hosted checkout and post-purchase pages, checkout tracking only runs when the required consent has been granted through Shopify's privacy controls.
You can adjust preferences in your browser; declining optional tracking may make it harder for us to understand what is working, but it will not block purchases.
4. Data retention and security
Order and account information is retained for as long as your Maple profile remains active or as required by tax and warranty regulations. We rely on encrypted storage, least-privilege access policies, and regular audits to protect your data.
5. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate details, or delete your profile entirely—subject to any obligations to complete outstanding orders. Contact privacy@maplesleep.com and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Updates
We review this policy whenever we introduce new services or partners. Material changes will be announced on this page and via email if you maintain an active Maple account.
